HOW TO FIND US

Getting here couldn’t be easier!

 

We are situated in Bracknell Town Centre, just outside of the Lexicon, in the basement of Easthampstead Works which is located just off the M3 and M4 located about six miles or a ten-minute drive from both the M3 and the M4 and an easy drive from Slough, Reading, Windsor and Wokingham.

 

Bracknell’s main bus station is a five minutes’ walk away or you can take a direct train from London Waterloo.

 

Live in Bracknell? We are just a short stroll or cycle ride away.

 

We do have a cycle rack outside the building.

If you are in town and facing Fenwicks, turn right and walk toward the building in front of you, that is Easthampstead Works.

 

The entrance is on the right-hand side, opposite the Police Station.

By Car

From the M3:
Exit the M3 at junction 3 and take the A322 Bracknell Road north. Follow the signs to The Lexicon.

 

From the M4:
Exit the M4 at junction 10 and take the A329(M) south. Continue onto the A329 Berkshire Way and join the A322. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Bagshot Road. Follow the signs to The Lexicon.

On Foot

How to find us

We are just outside The Lexicon which is well connected to Bracknell and surrounding areas by footpaths that provide direct and traffic-free access to shopping, dining and entertainment.

 

If you are in town and facing Fenwicks, turn right and walk toward the building in front of you, that is Easthampstead Works. Entrance is on the right hand side, opposite the Police Station. 

By Bike

The Lexicon is within a ten to 15 minute cycle ride from most parts of Bracknell via designated cycle routes.

Several of these are colour-coded to aid navigation and have underpasses designed to help cyclists avoid busy road crossings.

 

You’ll find 488 secure cycle stands around The Lexicon,  as well as 4 cycle stands outside the building. Locations can be found on The Lexicon Map here.

By Bus

The main bus station is located on Bracknell’s Station Road, between The Ring and Market Street, and is a five-minute walk away from The Lexicon.

 

There are also many bus stops on The Ring, close to The Lexicon’s entrances and exits.

 

The Lexicon is served by two main bus operators:

 

  • Courtney Buses serve destinations within the suburbs of Bracknell. For timetables, ticket information and local maps, visit www.courtneybuses.com.
  • Reading Buses connect The Lexicon to Reading via Wokingham. For timetables, ticket information and local maps, visit www.reading-buses.co.uk. Reading Buses also operates a service that connects The Lexicon to London’s Victoria Coach Station. For timetables, ticket information and local maps, visit www.greenline702.co.uk.

By Train

The Lexicon is about five minutes’ walk from Bracknell train station via pedestrian footpaths ways along illuminated and well overlooked roads.

South West Trains operate rail services between Bracknell and London Waterloo, Reading, Wokingham, Clapham Junction, Ascot and more. For live arrival and departure times, advanced ticket prices and booking information, please visit www.southwesternrailway.com

Connections to other rail services, including Great Western Railway (serving Wales, Bristol, Oxford and the south west) and CrossCountry Trains (serving destinations from Aberdeen to Penzance) are available at Reading. For schedules and tickets, please visit www.thetrainline.com.

Parking

IS THERE PARKING NEARBY?

 

There are several car parks around Bracknell. The Lexicon car park is the closest. Come out the parking, turn left, walk past Fenwicks, the grey building in front of you is Easthampstead Works, We are in the basement of the building.
